Organization and discipline are key components of success in learning a foreign language. It is similar to sports: if you train inconsistently and only from time to time, your muscles will not grow, no matter how expensive the gym membership is.
An effective learning process is only possible when both the teacher and the student take responsibility. The teacher prepares the lessons, works according to a clear plan, and does not replace class time with stories about personal life. The student, in turn, completes homework assignments, makes an effort to speak the language as much as possible, and studies regularly.
The learning process is divided into several stages. First, you learn a rule and new vocabulary; then you practise applying them in a training phase; and finally, you use the new knowledge in real communication. This can be compared to arriving in an unfamiliar city: at first you rely on a map, but over time you start navigating from memory. In addition, a new city may have its own customs and rules, so it is helpful to understand how things work there in advance in order to avoid uncomfortable situations. During the lesson, make sure to take notes, as new words and rules will appear again in the following slides.
To organize the learning process in the best possible way, we follow these rules:
Payment. Classes are paid in advance in blocks of 8 sessions.
The cost of group classes is 3300 Uruguayan pesos via bank transfer within Uruguay (or the equivalent in EUR/USD; payment is made via PayPal). The cost of individual classes is 5500 pesos for 8 hours.
Absences. Missed classes are not rescheduled and not refunded. In the case of individual classes, a refund is possible only with more than 6 hours’ prior notice.
Class recordings. We do not record classes in order to protect the privacy and comfort of all participants.
Study materials. The teacher provides all necessary materials. There are no additional costs.
Schedule. Classes take place at the agreed time. Any changes are communicated in advance.
Student participation. Active and respectful participation is expected. Together, we create a comfortable and productive learning environment.
